Pathfinder is a long scarf with 3 sections. The first section consists of imbricated expanding squares, starting with a tiny square and constructed with modular knitting. The middle section is worked with traveling slipped stitches, from corner to corner, following a zigzag line. The last section also consists of imbricated squares, but this time they're contracting, and ends with a tiny square.
